Salary commensurate with sales experience in Home Health and Private Duty Nursing.
Business Development Executive, Sales Responsibilities- Build relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities’ management, discharge planners, and case managers to promote homecare services for Private Duty Nursing/Home Health.
- Conduct in-services, presentations, educational sessions; host and attend relevant events to introduce home health care services to physicians, patients, families, facility staff, and other referral sources.
- Coordinate and complete on-site discharge planning when needed.
- Perform an initial territory market analysis and develop business development plans quarterly/annually; responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating all marketing/sales activities for company services.
- Develop and establish new business referral sources consistently.
- Maintain current relationships with referral sources and meet regularly with the clinical team.
- Identify and implement market strategies with sales and clinical teams resulting in continued census growth.
- Maintain knowledge of Medicare and state‑specific home health care regulations.
- Obtain physician's order for specified treatments and participate in the referral process.
- Prepare business plans and maintain target lists; prioritize accounts according to the market sales plan.
- Gather and organize account‑related information and provide input on key customer opportunities, service line extensions and proposal or contract pricing.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a health‑related science (e.g., nursing, pharmacy) or equivalent, plus minimum two years of health care or related industry sales experience generally required.
- Excellent selling, organization, problem‑solving skills, and ability to appropriately represent the company service capabilities to the targeted referral source audience.
- Previous healthcare sales experience preferred such as selling in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), DME, ortho, cardio, etc. OR previous experience as a clinical liaison preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills required;
Microsoft Office proficiency required. - Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings as required.
