** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain visitor records, and communicate access-related information in accordance with property procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders regarding incidents and observations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least two years of combined law enforcement, military, or corrections, or possess a college degree in criminal justice

+ Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
