Position Overview

Ressler Motors, Gallatin Import Group, and Gallatin Motors sell and service all major brands and manufacturers. We are the largest volume dealership in Montana, serving communities in Butte, Helena, Billings, Livingston, Manhattan, and beyond. $20-$40 per hour plus benefits and opportunities for growth. Sign‑on bonus and moving expense reimbursement available.

• Communicate with the Service Advisor to determine scope of work and acknowledge waiting customers.
• Perform thorough 21‑point vehicle maintenance inspection reports, advising the Service Advisor on recommended services or required repairs.
• Complete work outlined in repair orders efficiently and accurately following dealership and factory standards.
• Notify the Service Consultant immediately if additional work is required, if work is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Carry out engine, power steering, coolant, transmission, and brake flushes.
• Perform oil changes, lubrication work, and filter checks.
• Diagnose vehicle to determine necessary repairs.
• Inspect all vehicle fluid levels, including but not limited to power steering, windshield washer, transmission, engine oil, coolant, brake, clutch, and differential fluids.
• Rotate tires, adjust tire pressure, torque lug nuts correctly, and perform tire changes following safety protocols.
• Ensure the customer’s vehicle is delivered on time.
• Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
• Maintain all equipment in proper working order, especially lifts.
• Document all service and installation actions on forms, reports, logs, and repair orders, ensuring completion of complaint, cause, and correction sections.
• Follow published time guides for all procedures.
• Update job knowledge by participating in training and education opportunities.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Automotive Technician experience required.
