Project Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Construction Manager​/ Foreman

Montana State University is hiring a Project Manager I. The role requires managing university building projects through their design and construction phases by working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain project scope, schedule, budget, and legal compliance in the university's best interest.

• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and legal authority for assigned projects from initiation through design, construction, and warranty.
• Administer contracts between Montana State University and consultants or contractors to ensure compliance.
• Communicate effectively with campus stakeholders, community partners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously with budgets ranging from $150,000 to $50,000,000.
• Review design documents for quality control and compliance with university policies and Montana Code Annotated.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or Construction Management required, along with progressive project management experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, contract administration, project scheduling, cost management, and inspection practices necessary.
• Preferred experience includes managing diverse construction projects as an owner's representative and experience in university or institutional settings.
• Position offers a minimum salary of $42.023 per hour, commensurate with experience, and includes benefits eligibility.
• Position reports to the Department of Campus Planning, Design & Construction within University Services division and is exempt, full-time classified.
