. The Member Services Representative will be responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience.

As a member of our staff, you will deliver a positive member experience and manage day‑to‑day front desk operations.

• Greet members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring they feel welcome.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• Check members in, tour the facility, and sign up new members; log amenities and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point‑of‑sale system.

• Utilize the POS system to assist with new membership cards, address changes, and billing or payment questions.

• Keep the front desk area and lobby clean and orderly.
• Perform regular facility cleaning and upkeep such as mopping spills under equipment, removing trash, cleaning windows and mirrors, and re‑racking weights.
• Clean all exercise equipment and tanning beds, and maintain cleanliness in restroom and wet areas.

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are must.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive and professional approach, exceeding member expectations.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem‑solve.
• Diplomatic behavior and appropriate language in all interactions.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Continual standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Continual in‑person or phone communication with members during the shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• May occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during the shift.
