Position Details: This is a non‑tenure track instructor position for the Master of Science in Science Education (MSSE) program. The role may include teaching graduate‑level science and education courses online and on campus in disciplines such as Ecology, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Earth Science, Microbiology, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, and Education.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Revise and update assigned science or education graduate courses.
  • Teach MSSE online and/or campus field/lab science courses during fall/spring semesters and/or summer sessions.
  • Develop, deliver, and assess innovative graduate‑level courses.
  • Engage and educate graduate students effectively, both in person and in distance‑delivery modes.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support interdisciplinary education.
Required Qualifications
  • Doctoral or master’s degree in science, science education, engineering, agriculture, or related field.
  • University teaching experience, and/or experience teaching K‑12, and/or experience as an education coordinator or curriculum developer.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with national standards and guidelines for science teacher education and distance learning.
  • Experience in the development, delivery, and assessment of graduate courses.
  • Commitment to interdisciplinary education.
  • Ability to teach in a distance delivery mode.
