Location: Bozeman, MT (Relocation assistance provided)

- $80,000‑$120,000 base pay (DOE) with generous wage growth

THE ROLEThe Civil Engineer will thrive with a variety of engineering project design opportunities available. The Design Engineer will support the planning and design of airport projects for clients across a spectrum of design work from facilities, terminals, runways, navigation, and airspace studies to water, gas, and power design and analysis. These responsibilities include:
- Expertly collaborate with design teams, clients and regulatory agencies to grasp project vision.
- Leverage design software to create project designs, draft plans, drawings, and models according to project specifications.
- Apply FAA and airport safety knowledge in design work.
- Ensure precision and project safety through meticulous design.
- Perform technical writing for Requests for Proposals, report writing, project specifications, and memorandums.
- Apply construction knowledge to oversee builds.
- Support project managers with construction administration tasks.
- Lead project management tasks and cross‑functional teams.
- Complete project tasks from start to finish, supporting project and client services managers.
- Analyze facilities for system deficiencies regarding compliance with local, state, and federal standards and regulations; provide improvement alternatives to meet compliance with such regulations.
- Assist the Project Manager and Client Service Manager in engaging with community members, government officials, and other stakeholders to communicate project goals, address concerns, and gather input on water and wastewater initiatives.
- Provide job site support and observation and monitor construction progress.

YOUR STRENGTHS- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or willing to obtain after‑hire
- Minimum 4+ years of airport airfield, landside/airside design and construction experience
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and airport safety preferred
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D and Blue Beam
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and insurable record for travel
