Club Manager
We are searching for a Club Manager to join our team! As a key member of our staff, you will oversee club operations to ensure an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience and maintain a financially successful club. You will manage hiring, training, and continual employee development while leading the team in a positive, motivating manner.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management
:
Create staffing schedules ensuring all shifts are covered; lead by example, train and coach staff; submit HR forms on time; resolve employee issues; manage disciplinary/termination activities; provide backup support when needed. - Customer Service / Front Desk Activities
:
Greet members and guests; answer phones; check members in, tour and sign up new members; manage POS transactions including beverage and merchandise purchases. - Member Accounts
:
Use POS to issue membership cards, handle address changes and billing questions; authorize expenditures and refunds. - Club Cleanliness and Maintenance
:
Keep the front desk and lobby clean; perform regular facility cleaning (mopping, trash removal, windows, mirrors, equipment); maintain restrooms; notify Facilities Maintenance of needed repairs. - Miscellaneous
:
Make daily bank deposits; order club supplies within budget; track KPIs (guest counts, cancellations, information calls) and manage marketing efforts by training staff on promotions.
- 1 year of customer service experience (preferably in the fitness industry)
- High school diploma / GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current CPR certification required
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Superior problem-solving, leadership, and diplomacy skills
- A passion for health and fitness
- Continual standing and walking during shift
- Continual talking in person or on phone during shift
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs; occasional exposure to toxic chemicals
