• Maintain thorough familiarity with treatment protocols, response requirements, and quality assurance procedures.
• Stay aware of system changes and company policy updates.
• Maintain the appropriate level and type of certifications required for assigned tasks.
• Comply with state and company vehicle operation requirements.
• Operate a company vehicle following policy and safe practices.
• Locate addresses quickly and safely using knowledge of numbering systems and street layouts.
• Ensure the unit remains ready in terms of mechanical reliability, medical supplies, equipment, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Report any vehicle or equipment discrepancies that could compromise call completion.
• Complete all required documentation as outlined in company policy.
• Report all problems and unusual occurrences immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain professional appearance by adhering to hygiene and uniform standards.
• Attend all mandatory in‑services.
• Perform other duties as defined in the job description.

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and build strong community relations.
• Deploy on wildland fires.
• Deploy with a disaster response team with FEMA.
• Deploy with local SWAT teams.
• Provide medical care at multiple events throughout the county.

• National Registry EMT.
• Montana State EMT certification within 60 days of hire.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Driving record in compliance with AMR safety and driving policy.
• Obtain MT state EMT endorsements during training period.
