Radiology - MRI

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I (MRI Tech I) provides health care services by assisting in the diagnosis or treatment of patients. This role involves performing MRI procedures and related techniques, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. The MRI Tech I operates magnetic resonance scanners and utilizes knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to create accurate diagnostic images.

• Perform MRI exams and procedures as requested by the medical staff.
• Assist radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
• Complete documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieve prior images, studies, written orders, and related health information.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the scanner and archive imaging data.
• Participate in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of hospital quality indicators.

• Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• MRI Technician certification.
• Previous MRI experience is preferred.

This position is a full-time role consisting of 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Shift times may vary, starting as early as 6:00 a.m.

This is a 13-week contract position.
