Location: Bozeman, Montana
Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate
: $65 - $70/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ICU for a temporary assignment in Bozeman, Montana. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation through thorough assessment
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation
• Develop a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes (Plan of Care)
• Implement the identified plan of care
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
• Systematically enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
• Attain knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice
• Evaluate one's own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards, guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations
• Interact with and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues
• Collaborate with patient, family, and others in the conduct of nursing practice
• Integrate ethical provisions in all areas of practice
• Integrate research findings into practice
• Provide leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession
• Maintain current Montana Registered Nurse licensure
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Maintain current National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines related to care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke
• Participate in two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire
• Participate in one hour annually of cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
• Complete all required education on time per DNV requirements and other applicable requirements
• Practice modified primary nursing with competence, willingness, and ability
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and after-hours shifts as needed
• Respond promptly to on-call needs of the organization, patients, or employees as required
