American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care night shift position requiring 2+ years of radiology experience and ARRT(CT) certification.

• Acute care inpatient hospital setting
• Performs CT exams for NICU, CCU, ED and other hospital departments as requested by medical staff
• Night shift schedule:
  Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Participates in call rotation as scheduled or needed
• Works varied shifts in a busy, high-acuity environment

• Active state license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience as a registered technologist
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent
• Trauma center (Level I or II) CT experience preferred
• Ability to lift and support up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for 8+ hours daily

• Assists radiologists and medical staff during exams and procedures
• Completes documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
• Participates in quality indicator monitoring and improvement initiatives
• Trains and supports peer technologists
• Works independently in a highly complex, acute care environment
• May involve exposure to blood borne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseases
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
• Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
