About the roleThe role of Director of Supply & Demand Planning, reporting directly to our VP of Finance based in our office in Bozeman, Montana. This position will Lead demand, supply, and inventory planning to align commercial goals with operational execution. Deliver accurate forecasts, balanced supply, healthy inventory, and vendor readiness that fuel growth and profitability.
Demand Planning- Partner with Sales & Product to build rolling multi-horizon forecasts (seasonal, annual, multi-year) aligned to revenue goals
- Track forecast accuracy, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend actions
- Consolidate global/regional requirements into total supply needs
- Communicate forecasts to factories and vendors on a monthly cadence
- Drive vendor capacity planning (seasonal and long-term) to ensure supply security
- Build the annual inventory plan in partnership with Finance
- Monitor monthly KPIs (turns, aging, health metrics)
- Recommend actions to optimize working capital and service levels
- Lead the monthly S&OP cycle to align commercial priorities and operational capacity
- Report on operational performance, trade-offs, and risks
- Oversee product master data integrity and leverage planning tools to drive accurate reporting, scenario modeling, and decision support
- Continuously improve planning processes, systems, and reporting
- Grow and mentor the team
- Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to ensure clarity of objectives, accountability, and development opportunities through ongoing dialogue
- Build clear structure, expectations, and accountability to achieve goals
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- 7+ years of progressive experience
- 3+ years leading a team
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university
- Advanced analytical capability and proficiency in ERP/planning tools
- Footwear product experience strongly preferred
- Strategic and analytical thinker who aligns commercial goals with supply reality
- Communicates clearly and simplifies complexity to drive alignment
- Collaborative leader who builds trust with cross-functional partners and vendors
- Decisive under pressure, balancing near-term execution with long-term priorities
- Champions continuous improvement, driving better processes, tools, and outcomes
