Darigold is looking for motivated Cooler Workers/Production to join our Bozeman Plant. The Plant operates several different types of bottling equipment, as well as associated boxing, casing, and palletizing equipment. The duties described for this position cover several different positions because this is an entry‑level position and not specific for one position. Most entry‑level positions involve being cross‑trained across several different jobs to offer flexibility and a greater understanding of the overall operation.

Another integral part of all the production jobs is housekeeping. All positions require some cleaning duties and therefore involve working with water and chemicals. Some positions may also require the use of motorized pallet jacks. All positions require the employee to be on their feet. There is some mobility with all positions that allow the employee to walk around some.

Some lifting is required, up to 70 pounds, as well as bending and twisting to perform different tasks. Report any food safety or quality issues.

This position is covered by a union contract, which requires the selected applicant to join the union and pay dues.

What You Will Bring:
  • Ability to work night or day shift, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience with pallet jacks and/or forklifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Proven work history to work safe, efficiently, and be dependable.
  • Most employees are currently working (4) 10‑hour shifts. Weekend and night work schedules are possible and very likely. Overtime as needed.
Nice to Haves:
  • High School education or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous production experience in a food manufacturing plant.
