Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients. The Clinic RN utilizes the nursing process with technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordination of care with other health team members in an outpatient clinic setting. Clinic RNs are pivotal members of the care delivery team headed by the physician and have specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities pertinent to ambulatory care patient needs.
Scope of practice includes prioritization and triage of care, implementing standing orders and protocols, and performing procedures and therapies consistent with training and licensure.

Full time (40 budgeted hours). Monday–Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm - No Nights, Weekends or Holidays

Specialty RN experience preferred - A $500 per month housing stipend is being provided. The stipend is subject to change and will be taxed according to applicable tax laws.
- Up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus when applicable.
Base pay range
$31.00/hr - $48.00/hr
This RN will be an integral part of developing our newest clinic. Work side by side with our practice manager, physicians, and MAs to build great patient experiences and broader community access to specialized care. Our state-of-the-art clinic in Bozeman, MT will encompass Cardiology, Neurology and ENT specialties. We have 25 exam rooms and 2 procedural areas, and EPIC documentation, including the EPIC dashboard for patient tracking and throughput.
The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. In this role, you will be building best practices, collaborating with our specialists and providing mentoring and patient education.
- Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social and psychological status (including cognitive, communicative and developmental skills as appropriate).
- Seeks and evaluates information from the interdisciplinary team: patient, family, physician, non-nursing disciplines, support staff, and others.
- Uses assessment information and critical thinking to collaboratively develop an individualized plan of care.
- Engages patient, family, team, and physician in plan of care planning and education; prepares for further support needs after current care episode (teaching, referrals, follow-up).
- Directs the interdisciplinary care team via delegation, coordination and collaboration as appropriate; provides or delegates care consistent with plan of care and licensure.
- Demonstrates priority setting and effective organization of patient care delivery (time, supplies, resources).
- Evaluates patient response to interventions and revises the plan of care as needed; reassesses changes as appropriate.
- Promotes the nursing profession and develops others; complies with regulatory standards, practices within licensure scope, maintains accurate documentation, and understands legal implications of care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications
- Current RN License in state of practice.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Practice-specific certification as required by the clinical setting (e.g., ALS, PALS).
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- RNs with less than 12 months of nursing experience must obtain their BSN within five years of start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent verbal communication with patients, providers, and staff; ability to hear and respond quickly, especially during emergencies.
- Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment; frequent computer use and documentation.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients and move supplies and equipment; may involve heavy items.
