Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring MT or compact licensure and prior OR circulating/scrub experience.

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required
• CNOR certification preferred
• 1 year circulating experience preferred
• 1 year scrub experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting covering circulating and scrub duties
• Full-time 1.0 FTE position with variable day shift schedule
• Requires flexibility to cover all shifts including call responsibilities
• 13-week contract assignment
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to assess patient needs and implement individualized plans of care
• Participates in ongoing stroke education, including two hours within the first year of hire and one hour annually
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
• Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
• Works effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment requiring sound judgment and strong teamwork skills
