American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a Cancer Center role requiring active MT or compact RN licensure and at least 2 years of experience.

• Outpatient Cancer Center setting within a hospital environment
• Full-time 0.9 FTE day shift position
• Schedule consists of four 9-hour shifts per week with one rotating weekday off based on clinic needs
• May require working beyond standard hours, including occasional weekends, after-hours, or on-call coverage

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Oncology Certified Nurse credential preferred
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, and implementation of care for oncology patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and deliver patient and family education
• Promote a safe environment while employing evidence-based nursing practices
• Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
