Virtual Sales Specialist Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Deployment Solutions team as a Virtual Sales Specialist. This role partners with top-tier pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies to deliver smarter and faster solutions for the industry.
Under moderate supervision, the Virtual Sales Specialist is responsible for outbound marketing, disease state identification and education, and inbound customer support within a virtual pharmaceutical environment. Customers include physicians, healthcare providers, and clinic personnel.
The VSS implements the client’s marketing plan by delivering proficient sales presentations to current and prospective customers. The VSS plans and organizes activities to ensure consistent coverage of the territory, maintains accurate records in the CRM, and complies with reporting and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Execute client-directed outbound calls, emails, and virtual strategic interactions with assigned targets and prospective customers to deliver effective sales presentations.
- Develop a daily/weekly call schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of assigned targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, including calls, emails, and appointments in the CRM system.
- Clearly articulate the clinical benefits and value of the product to HCPs and office staff using educational resources and support materials.
- Foster trust and credibility through consistent, professional communication in a virtual setting with HCPs and office staff.
- BA/BS degree minimum required.
- Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a documented history of success.
- Expert selling skills, strong verbal and written communication, ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Experience in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments.
- 1+ year(s) of virtual/inside healthcare sales experience.
- Strong understanding of medical and scientific concepts and ability to learn and convey complex product information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple tasks across multiple systems.
Annual base salary ranges from $70,000 to $75,000. Eligibility for commissions/bonuses may apply. Benefits include a competitive compensation package, health benefits (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) company match, flexible paid time off, and sick time. State and municipal paid sick time requirements may vary. COVID‑19 vaccination policy applies as required.
