Job Summary:

Gallatin Valley Mall is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. The ideal candidate will have prior security experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in various situations.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol mall property on foot to maintain a visible security presence.

Assist customers, tenants, and mall staff with safety concerns.

Enforce mall policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed.

Complete detailed reports of incidents and daily activities.

Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of security or related experience preferred.

Ability to obtain a Montana Guard Card.

Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.

Capable of performing moderate physical activity.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
