Gallatin Valley Mall is seeking a reliable and professional Part‑Time Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. The ideal candidate will have prior security experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in various situations.

• Patrol mall property on foot to maintain a visible security presence.
• Assist customers, tenants, and mall staff with safety concerns.
• Enforce mall policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents and daily activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.

• Minimum of 1 year of security or related experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Montana Guard Card.
• Strong observational and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
• Capable of performing moderate physical activity.

Part‑time

$22.00 – $25.00 per hour
