A successful secondary school in Northamptonshire is seeking a Business Studies and Economics Teacher from September 2026. This permanent teaching role includes Business Studies at KS4 and KS5 alongside Economics at A Level within a thriving sixth form.

Business Studies and Economics are well established subjects within the school and attract strong student uptake. Students are engaged, thoughtful and enjoy exploring how economic decisions, markets and organisations influence everyday life.

The department benefits from strong sixth form numbers, collaborative planning and a curriculum that balances academic challenge with real-world relevance. Students regularly progress to university courses in Economics, Finance, Business and related disciplines.

• Teaching Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
• Teaching A Level Economics
• Preparing students for GCSE Business and A Level examinations

• Working within a successful sixth form department

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in Business, Economics or related subject
• Ability to teach Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
• Ability to teach A Level Economics
