CNC Machinist – Northamptonshire – Salary up to £18p/h + Benefits –

Salary DOE + Benefits + Overtime
Northamptonshire
Mon – Fri
Days – 8am – 4pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading advanced manufacturing organisation specialising in high-performance carbon fibre components for the automotive and motor sport sectors. With decades of industry expertise, the business is known for delivering precision-engineered solutions to some of the most prestigious brands globally.

Operating to the highest quality standards, the company continues to grow and invest in its people and technology, offering a stable and progressive environment for skilled engineers.

They are now looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team.

The Role:

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-quality components

• Work from setup sheets and download programmes generated from Powermill

• Machine patterns, moulds, and trim carbon fibre components

• Work with a variety of materials and complex parts

• Ensure all work is completed to tight tolerances and high-quality standards

• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines with minimal supervision

• Collaborate with team members and report into the CNC Manager

Skills & Experience Needed:

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery

• Experience working with high-precision components and tight tolerances

• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and setup sheets

• Experience machining composites or similar materials (advantageous)

• Familiarity with CMS machines and/or Fanuc controls (desirable but not essential)

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Apprenticeship / BTEC or equivalent engineering qualification (preferred)
