This role is responsible for the day to day supervision of the trimming team. Ensuring the departmentisworkingtomeetthecustomerneeds,the correct qualitystandardsofworkand the departmental resources are supervised effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Toberesponsibleforoverallexecutionanddeliveryoftheproductionschedulefor department as a whole, ensuring the schedule is completed and any issue are escalated to the appropriate individuals.
• Responsible for ensuring the trimmers have the required tools, information and guidancetomakesurejobsheetiscompletedeverydaymaximizingplanadherence and efficiency.
• Ensuringalltasksarecompletedontime,correctly tocompany/customer policy/procedures in an efficient manner.
• Working with the team on a day to day basis ensuring any delays are highlighted to the Operations
  
  Manageranda planisputinplacewiththeteamtocatchup/coveroff any delays, causing issues are rectified ASAP and a prevention plan/action is put in place.
• Responsibleforensuringequipmentiswellchecked,maintainedandserviced according to the company policy, any issues to be rectified immediately and escalated as required.
• Liaise with Inspection and Trimdepartmentstoensuresmoothproductionofcurrent  and future work.
• Ensurethatanyresource/materialshortagesarereportedtothe
  
  Operations
  
  Manager or Production Managers.
• Responsibleforensuringallworkiscompletedtothecorrectqualitystandard (both the customer and companies) at all times.
• Liaisingwiththe Operations Managertodebriefqualityperformance ,issues,failures of process, corrective actions andensuringanyactions arefollowedandresolvedin a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Escalatinganyissuesarisingfrommoulds/process/manualsneedstothe
  
  Operations Manager/PM/PE immediately and ensuring these are dealt with.

• Responsibleforthedaily supervisionoftrimmers,ensuringtheyareawareoftheir individualshiftrequirements,theworkexpectedofthemandthecompanypolicies and procedures.

• Attentiontodetail.
• Goodcommunicationskills.
• Capableoflisteningtoandfollowinginstructions.
• Capable of reaching set targets within given time frame.
