An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading manufacturer supplying some of the most prestigious names in the automotive and motor sport industries. Specialising in high-quality carbon fibre components, the business is known for its precision engineering and the parts it produces for some of the world's most exclusive vehicles.
The purpose of the role is to prepare tooling patterns and moulds to a high standard, ensuring accuracy, quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.
Skills & Experience Needed:- Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- Confident using hand tools, small air tools and abrasive materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A good understanding of health and safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.
- A flexible approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience reading engineering drawings would be an advantage, but is not essential.
My client is open to candidates without direct tooling preparation experience, as training and development can be provided for the right person. A practical mindset, a keen eye for detail and an interest in engineering, automotive or motor sport are what really matter.
