Are you a qualified Management Accountant with experience in a product-led business? Do you enjoy working across multiple entities, solving complex accounting challenges and turning numbers into clear, useful insight?
We re looking for a Management Accountant to join a growing international distribution group with several European subsidiaries.
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week based in the Bracknell office.
The roleYou ll play a key part in the finance team, taking ownership of accounting and reporting across individual European entities while supporting the preparation of consolidated Group management accounts.
It s a varied role covering consolidation, intercompany accounting, inventory, cashflow, budgeting and forecasting, with plenty of opportunity to improve processes as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly Group consolidated management accounts
- Produce accounts for individual European entities
- Prepare clear reporting for the Board, lenders and other stakeholders
- Manage Xero ledgers and key accounting entries
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage inventory accounting, valuation and system reconciliations
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
- Produce weekly Group cashflow reporting
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Support improvements to finance systems, controls and processes
To succeed in this role, you ll need:
- Experience with in a product-led or stock-holding business
- Strong multi-entity and consolidation experience
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
- Strong balance sheet and reconciliation skills
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Understanding of UK and European VAT principles
- Advanced Excel skills
- A confident, practical approach to resolving complex accounting issues
