Great Hollands Primary School is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Controller to join our dedicated team. This vital role involves supervising children – across all year groups – during the lunch break, ensuring their safety and wellbeing, and promoting positive behaviour and play. As a Lunchtime Controller, you will help create a happy and inclusive environment where children feel supported and encouraged.

• Hardworking, committed, and able to inspire, motivate and encourage children at all levels.
• Capable of monitoring the children’s activities prior to, during and after lunch to minimise risks.
• Staying actively involved in promoting the values of the school during lunch hour so that social, emotional and educational learning is promoted.
• Ensuring the lunchtime provision offers children a variety of stimulating learning through facilitating games, clubs and activities.
• Recording all accidents in the accident book and reporting them to the teacher/s so that appropriate action may be taken.
• Observing Health and Safety regulations relating to the school at all times, including first aid.

• Enjoys working with children.
• Has good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Is reliable.
• Can show initiative and work independently as required.
• Has the ability to develop positive and caring relationships with children.
• Is comfortable working with children of different ages and those who may have additional complex needs.
