Job OverviewWe are seeking a Behaviour, Support and Inclusion specialist Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated secondary school team (ages 11-18). This is an exciting opportunity to support a happy and successful schoool community committed to high standards, inclusive practice and exceptional teaching. The role sits within a large, multi-academy trust operating across several regions in the South and South West of England.
The trust brings together a family of like-minded schools that collaborate, share best practice and champion a culture of continuous learning. Staff are encouraged to contribute ideas, grow professionally and learn from one another.
- Promote disruption-free learning throughout the school
- Manage challenging behaviour and provide focused support to individual students
- Assist colleagues responding to on-call requests, escalating concerns when necessary
- Contact parents and carers to help build strong, positive relationships
- Remove students from lessons when behaviour becomes disruptive
- Support the Reflection Room (internal exclusion) and manage related processes
