Bracknell Forest - IRO​/CP Chair - Umb

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced IRO / Child Protection Chair to join Bracknell Forest Council.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Chair Child Protection Conferences and related review meetings in person, in line with child protection procedures and statutory guidance.
Ensure the voice of the child is central to safeguarding arrangements and care planning.
Quality assure care planning arrangements, ensuring children's wishes and feelings are fully reflected in plans.
Undertake Independent Reviewing Officer responsibilities in accordance with statutory guidance.
Contribute to service-wide and directorate-wide quality assurance activity to support workforce learning and development.
Attend conferences and reviews at Times Square or placement locations as required.
Attend monthly in-person team meetings.

Working Pattern:

Full-time
Hybrid working - in-person attendance required for all conferences and reviews
Duration until May 2026

Pay Rate:

41.33 p/h Umb

Essential Requirements:

Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
Social Work England Registration
Extensive experience as an IRO and/or Child Protection Chair
Strong knowledge of child protection procedures and statutory guidance
Ability to travel locally and attend meetings in person
