Deputy DSL and Pastoral Support Lead

• Hours: 37 hours per week. 8:30am-4:30pm term time, plus 5 inset days and some holiday days, by mutual agreement.

We are recruiting a highly organised and motivated individual for the role of Pastoral Support Leader and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, to manage our strong pastoral support team. You will be an inspirational role model to pupils, working with staff and families to give pupils the best start to their education. You will lead the support team, providing social and emotional interventions for pupils and support families, and assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead with case load management, meetings with professionals, staff support and SLT data provision.

• Lead and manage the pastoral support team.
• Provide social and emotional interventions for pupils.
• Support families through pastoral interventions.
• Assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead with case load management.
• Attend meetings with professionals and provide data for the Senior Leadership Team.

• Experience as a practitioner with successful partnerships with parents.
• Background in Children’s Social Care, Early Help or Police preferred.
• Positive, enthusiastic member of the school community.
• Strong organisational and motivating skills.
