Key Responsibilities as a SEN Support Assistant:- Provide tailored support to children with a variety of special educational needs, both one-on-one and in small group settings
- Work closely with the class teacher to implement and adapt individual learning programmes
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere to encourage both academic and personal growth
- Adjust resources and teaching strategies to suit each pupil's learning style and requirements
- A kind, empathetic individual who is committed to improving outcomes for children with SEN
- Prior experience in a school or similar educational setting is beneficial, though not essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
