Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be responsible for providing continued clinical advice, training and supervision to a group of staff operating within a multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will direct and support the team's allocation of new patients to staff involving a robust understanding and formulation of their risks, presenting concerns and the recommendation for ongoing care including, sometimes, transfer to the most appropriate care pathway.
The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of those staff tasked with providing care to patients presenting with significant complexity and risk and ensure that agreed policies are followed and local arrangements are in place to minimise risk.
