Senior DevOps Engineer

Halian is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Dev Ops Engineer on a permanent basis on behalf of an innovative and industry leading SaaS organisation.

In this role, you will work at the heart of their cloud-native systems, automating and optimizing their infrastructure while ensuring the highest levels of security, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in a Dev Ops or similar role, ideally within a cloud-first, SaaS, or high-availability environment.
• Strong expertise with Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud and familiarity with cloud-native tools and services.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation).
• Experience with Scripting (Python or Bash)
• Have practical experience in managing large MySQL database instances.

Location:

Reading/Hybrid

Salary: up to £85K depending on experience + bonus + private medical care.
