Are you passionate about protecting organisations from evolving cyber threats? Our client is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to play a key role in strengthening their security posture by designing, implementing, and managing security controls across their technology estate.
About the Role
You'll lead security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and security engineering initiatives while working closely with teams across the business to embed security best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to influence security strategy, drive automation, and support the secure adoption of emerging technologies, including AI.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and manage SIEM and EDR platforms (including Crowd Strike) to detect and respond to security threats.
* Lead incident response, investigations, and post-incident reviews.
* Manage vulnerability assessments, remediation, and secure configuration standards (CIS Benchmarks).
* Administer IAM solutions, SaaS security, and data protection technologies.
* Develop security automation to improve operational efficiency.
* Support network and cloud security initiatives.
* Create and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
* Provide security expertise across projects and stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies.
About You
You'll bring:
* 3–5+ years' experience in security engineering or a similar cybersecurity role.
* Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR (ideally Crowd Strike), vulnerability management, and IAM solutions.
* Strong knowledge of networking, security architecture, automation, and scripting.
* Experience with SaaS security and data protection technologies.
* A degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
* Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or similar are advantageous.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
