IT Support Technician

Talentmark are recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is fully site based in Bracknell with some ad hoc cover for a site in Basingstoke.

Salary:
15.12 ph to 20.16 ph depending on experience

IT Support Technician Role:

• Act as primary point of contact for a range of IS systems, including hardware, software and applications.
• Work directly to address computer issues and help create a world-class digital service.
• Proactively identify and remediate potential hardware issues, leveraging data analytics to determine areas of focus, and ensure devices meet security standards.
• Work in walk-up support areas for tech support.

Your Background:

• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., Microsoft Certified IT Professional etc).
• Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
• Basic understanding of multiple operating systems (Windows, Mac, iOS).
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills with focus on endpoint devices, peripherals, and advanced knowledge of all O365.
• Working knowledge in the set-up, configuration, and use of computer hardware, software, and networks.
