We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager for our client, an established technology business delivering complex software and technology solutions.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of projects from initiation through to delivery, manage customer relationships and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of technology and software projects, ensuring agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards are met.
* Lead and coordinate cross-functional and virtual project teams.
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing expectations, communications and escalations.
* Develop and maintain project plans, documentation, risk registers and change controls.
* Oversee project testing, milestones and successful delivery.
* Manage project budgets, revenue forecasts, costs and billing plans.
* Support sales and presales teams with bids, tenders and customer presentations.
* Identify delivery risks, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent qualification.
* Proven project management experience within the technology, software or IT sector.
* Experience managing projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
* Good understanding of software development life cycles, cloud platforms and/or hardware and software solutions.
* Strong commercial awareness, including project budgets, costs and financial reporting.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems and deliver under pressure.
* Confident leading teams and managing customer expectations.
The Opportunity
This position offers the opportunity to manage challenging technology projects, work closely with technical and commercial teams, and take responsibility for delivering solutions to customers.
We are particularly interested in Project Managers who combine technical understanding, commercial judgement and strong customer-facing skills.
