We're looking for an experienced Field Service Manager / Field Engineering Manager to lead a team of field-based engineers within a technical services environment.
You’ll manage the day-to-day field service operation, including engineer scheduling, resource planning, team performance, training and service delivery.
Key responsibilities- Manage and develop a team of Field Service Engineers / mobile engineers
- Coordinate engineer scheduling, workloads and resource planning
- Monitor KPIs, productivity and service performance
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development
- Provide operational and technical support to engineers
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, compliance and quality
- Manage customer queries and escalations
- Improve operational efficiency and field service delivery
- Experience managing Field Service Engineers, Service Engineers, Technicians or mobile engineering teams
- Engineering, technical services, testing, maintenance, compliance or similar background
- Strong people management and operational management experience
- Experience with scheduling and coordinating field-based teams
- Strong customer and stakeholder-management skills
- Engineering or technical qualification, or equivalent industry experience, preferred
