Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Minor Injury Trained) – Bracknell Urgent Care Centre – Up to 40 hours available (Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun)

We have an amazing opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner trained in Minor Injuries to join our team at Bracknell Urgent Care Centre and grow in knowledge and experience alongside our local and extended team of clinicians.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Advanced Practitioner with evidence of MSc-level education in Advanced Practice;
    Level 7 postgraduate modules in at least two relevant areas such as Advanced Physical Assessment Skills, Minor Injuries, Minor Illness, Health Assessment, or Disease Management.
  • Experience in urgent or emergency care is essential.
  • Autonomous Practitioner capable of assessing, diagnosing and planning care for patients, including prescribing of medications where qualified and clinically indicated.
About Bracknell Urgent Care Centre

We operate out of a modern, purpose-built facility with free parking and excellent transport links. BUCC offers a high standard of unscheduled care from early morning to late evening for patients attending with a wide variety of undifferentiated conditions. The centre is staffed primarily by our team of experienced Clinicians with additional support from other clinical and non-clinical members of staff.

We are building a well-established team of salaried GPs, ANPs, and Practice Nurses.

    Up to £60,000 annual FTE + unsocial hours (pro‑rata for less than 40 hours)

Qualifications
  • Current NMC / HCPC registration
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or relevant ACP Level 7 courses with recognised modules in Advanced Physical Assessment Skills (essential) and Minor Injuries (essential)
  • Non‑medical (V300) prescribing qualification
Desirable Qualifications
  • Minor Illness trained
  • Understanding of autonomous practice within a minor illness/urgent care centre and the roles that deliver this
  • Satisfactory DBS clearance
Experience
  • Essential:
    Experience in urgent / emergency care
  • Desirable:
    Experience managing acute undifferentiated presentations, ability to triage
