R&D Glasshouse Technician

NES Fircroft is currently recruiting a R&D Glasshouse Technician on behalf of our client, a Global name in the Agricultural Technology industry. The role will be based at a world leading International Research Centre at Jealotts Hill, Bracknell. This is a contract position for an initial 12 month duration with the possibility of long-term extension. Mon-Fri 36hrs per week.

The Role:

The purpose of the Research Associate is to support Weed Control Research Biology on the SPS (Secondary Profiling Screen) platform by spraying and maintaining, plants in the glasshouse in order to deliver timely, quality data to herbicide research projects

The job holder will work in the Trialling Operations team within Technical Support - Weed Control and will be required to spray and maintain herbicide bioassays in the glasshouse, using established and novel weed screening methods producing biology data to enable project decisions.
