Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Bradenton, FL

Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 (depending on experience)

• Support day-to-day accounting operations as a Staff Accountant, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Work with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial data flow
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and support audit processes
• Review and reconcile accounts to ensure compliance with internal policies
• Support senior leadership with special projects and analytical tasks as a Staff Accountant
• Collaborate with the tax, finance, and operations teams to enhance process efficiencies
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation as part of the Staff Accountant responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience (insurance industry experience is a plus)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core Staff Accountant responsibilities
• Proficiency in Excel and general ledger systems
• Business Central experience is a PLUS
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing accounting team
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow as a Staff Accountant
