Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Laborer Common for 225113 - Lena Road Landfill Flare Station & Expansion in Bradenton, FL
.

The common laborer will perform physical tasks on construction job sites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and/or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned.

• Perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
• Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management.
• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
• Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment.

• 1 year verifiable experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Compliance with all safety policies and procedures; effective communication with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
