Florida – West Coast – Associate Medical Director

A facility on Florida’s beautiful central west coast is looking for a motivated and dedicated PM&R physician to join their team as Associate Medical Director. This position offers the flexibility to work as an independent contractor or as an employed physician. Candidates of all experience levels, including new graduates, are encouraged to apply. The team is happy to provide support and mentorship to help teach the Associate Director responsibilities if needed as the structure and assistance is available within the hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Associate Medical Director of the PM&R department, overseeing clinical operations and ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IMEs and NPs, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Mentor and supervise medical staff, residents, and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Active medical license in the state of Florida.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on the responsibilities of an Associate Medical Director.
