Base Salary: $124,344 – $146,288

Job Type: Full-time

This Senior System Engineer supports embedded and software products for the KGS Edwards brand.

Responsibilities include defining system architecture, documenting safety‑critical requirements, developing verification tests, conducting design reviews, managing multiple engineering projects, and contributing to emerging technology strategy.

• Define and represent the fundamental structure of systems, components, and interfaces.
• Document safety‑critical system requirements and manage with tools.
• Align requirements decomposition with architecture and support analysis and trades.
• Refine requirements based on VoC sessions, quality tickets, and technology improvements.
• Define system boundaries, IO, data flows, and processing needs.
• Develop and review verification/validation tests to ensure requirements coverage.
• Conduct robust design reviews, DFMEA, root cause analysis, and safety reviews.
• Manage multiple engineering projects across disciplines.
• Create standard work and procedures for routine engineering tasks.
• Deliver system engineering outputs on large complex projects.
• Utilize emerging technologies and assess tools for improvement.
• Mentor staff and present technical findings.
• Prepare business cases, publish papers, support customer documentation, and track industry trends.

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Or Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience.
• ASEP/CSEP certification an advantage.
• Knowledge of System Architecture, UML, SysML, DFMEA, QFD, and tools like R4J, Modelio.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio.
• Programming skills in C/C++, C#, Java, Python or similar.
