Job Summary And Qualifications
We are currently looking for an ambitious Pharmacy Manager to help us reach our goals. As our Manager in the Pharmacy you will assist the Director with management, planning, organizing, controlling and supervising activities in the department according to hospital policies and standards. What you will do in the role:
- You will communicate and interact with patients, families and others in a caring, empathetic, courteous, and respectful manner.
- You will foster effective departmental communication and collaboration with physicians and/or other members of the interdisciplinary team in meeting patient needs.
- You will demonstrate responsibility and accountability for ensuring effective pain management practices are in place and operational in area(s) of responsibility.
- You will actively contribute to and work towards hospital wide improvements in meeting core measures, patient safety and service line excellence goals.
- You will ensure staff is educated on established guidelines for reporting a significant medical error or anticipated outcome in the patient's care which results in patient harm.
- Graduate of a college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmacy Education
- Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy;
Pharm.
D from a School of Pharmacy preferred - Minimum of three years of clinical pharmacy experience in an acute-care hospital setting or general pharmacy practice residency preferred
