The Multi-Modal Technologist reports to the designated leader(s) within the Radiology/Imaging Department. This position performs diagnostic procedures with skill and without requiring constant supervision in more than one modality, or two specialties within the same modality. Experience in Breast Ultrasound preferred.

• Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g., The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards and guidelines.
• Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
• Must have working knowledge of computers and basic management applications.
• Treats everyone as a guest by making a good first impression, anticipating needs and displaying service recovery skills.
• Demonstrates professionalism and excellence by looking professional, being accountable for actions and delivering excellence in our everyday work.
• Practices teamwork by participating in decision making and process improvement, communicating effectively and focusing on the problem/issue, not the person.

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Diploma / Certification from a certified school of Primary Imaging Modality required.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Ultrasound Technologist required; acute care experience preferred.
• Six (6) months of experience in two (2) or more modalities (e.g., CT, MR, IR, NM, US, or Cath Lab) required; acute care experience preferred.
• Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy licensure if required by state.
• Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required or must be obtained within 12 months of start date and maintained current thereafter.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
