Join the MCR Health team as a Pharmacy Technician I in Bradenton, FL. Responsibilities- Assist the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with delegated tasks related to the pharmacy business, including prescription order interpretation, compounding, packaging, labeling, dispensing, and distribution of drugs and devices.
- Cover shifts at the MCR Health pharmacy site, operating the store location in accordance with Florida DPR Statute #465.018, statutes 465, 21s, 893, and applicable DEA requirements.
- Support the pharmacist in completing delegated tasks approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy, ensuring compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and MCR Health rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in the prescription filling process through workflow and all operational functions related to the pharmacy department as directed by the pharmacist.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida (required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- Working knowledge of pharmacy software system (Rx30) preferred.
- Understanding of 340b drug requirements per OPA (preferred).
- Experience with McKesson Connect system (preferred).
- Valid BLS Certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute.
- Valid government or state .
- Proof of graduation from an accredited school.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
