- Sat Number of Beds – Facility features 28 bed IRF and 383 acute care hospital (avg census 240) Number of Staff – 15 OT’s on staff (F/T, P/T, and PRN staff) Type of staff:
Day Shift – Staffed to support patient care needs Night Shift - NONE Patient Ratios – 4 patients/day (IRF) 8-12 patients/day (acute care) Type of equipment – 2 therapy gyms, ADL apartment EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Weekend flexibility Willingness to work on IRF unit Critical thinking/clinical reasoning Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Hospital/IRF experience (highly preferred) Stroke/neuro experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Evaluation, treatment, discharge Team conferences, family training Adaptive devices, adaptive equipment Best personality Fit:
Flexible, team player, collaborative Unit Guidelines/Policies:
Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. 1 weekend shift/month MINUMUM. Highly prefer increased weekend flexibility Active OT license, active BLS certification
