• Job Title: Phlebotomist
• Status: Part‑time
• Schedule: Evenings

This position contributes to the mission of Lakewood Ranch Medical Center and the goals of the department by obtaining and/or assisting in the processing of laboratory specimens to facilitate the production of quality results.

• Performs LIS/computer operations and clerical functions as needed.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy certificate program preferred.
• At least 3 months of active phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Applicant must possess current skills so orientation period is not training.
• Recent graduates of phlebotomy certificate programs may be considered in lieu of experience.
• No license required; phlebotomy certification preferred.
