Max Health in Manatee County is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant to oversee patient care, prepare patients' rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front desk tasks. The candidate will perform a wide range of medical office tasks in front/back office roles.

As a Medical Assistant, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver focused and empathetic patient care at all times. You greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival. You prepare examination and procedure rooms, obtain patient histories, and record vital signs, weight, and height. You may perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and procedures, and managing documents such as pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results.
You assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments while maintaining a calming presence for patients.
- 1+ years of experience as an MA
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer literacy (experience using EMR/EHR)
- Computer proficiency
- Previous experience with Medical Records
