• Oversee Patient Services Representatives and their daily work, responsibilities, and monitor their productivity as directed by the Patient Services leadership team.
• Provide feedback and coaching to Patient Services Representatives per the MCR Health Supervisor Reference Manual and Employee Handbook.
• Assist in the orientation and training of Patient Services Representatives upon hire and as directed by the Patient Services Department leadership team.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all patients, visitors, co‑workers, and leaders, ensuring an Exceptional Experience to Everyone, Every Time.
• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of telephone usage and the operation of the telephone system.

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent (verification required).
• At least one year of customer service experience in a high‑volume impact environment, preferably in healthcare.

The Patient Services Team Lead must have experience and demonstrate expertise in the duties of a Patient Services Representative. The role is the go‑to person for day‑to‑day questions and guidance on operational policies and procedures, while performing the duties of a Senior Patient Services Representative. The Lead is accountable for ensuring end‑of‑day tasks, holds, slips, and clinical inboxes are monitored daily within MCR Health policies and procedures, and for communicating any site‑level issues to the Office Manager, Patient Access Manager, or Practice Administrator immediately.
