Information Technology; IT) Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team. The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting employees with hardware and software needs, and ensuring the overall security and efficiency of the District’s technology infrastructure. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Applicants must hold at least a CompTIA A+ certification at the time of application. Please attach a copy of your CompTIA A+ certification along with your application.

The starting pay is based on qualifications, as shown below.

• Probationary IT Specialist – $71,662/year. Must have at least CompTIA A+ upon application.
• IT Specialist I – $79,380/year. Two years of acceptable experience, Certification through Microsoft on the Fundamentals of Microsoft 365, and CompTIA a+ Network certification.
• IT Specialist II – $87,097/year. Four years of acceptable experience, Certification through Microsoft on the Fundamentals of Azure, and CompTIA a+ Security certification or equivalent IT cyber security certification.
• IT Specialist III – $94,815/year. Six years of acceptable experience, Certification through Microsoft as a Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, and CompTIA a+ Security certification or equivalent IT cloud administrator.
